Jeff Conroy will share the story of Embody, his DARPA-funded sports medicine start-up founded in 2014 and sold to Zimmer Biomet in 2022.  Medtech entrepreneurs face familiar themes related to team building, fundraising, product development, regulatory process, and commercialization.  Embody faced many challenges to achieve multiple product approvals, commercialization and navigated an M&A process to achieve their exit.
