Parent-Teacher Robotics Workshop

Teachers and parents can learn how to start and/or coach a FIRST Robotics team to engage more youth in STEM, problem-solving, teamwork, communication of ideas and path of creative discovery. No level of education or engineering/scientific knowledge is required. This is a chance to offer FUN for adults and youth of your public, private, or home school or just a group of friends. IT IS EASY!

This FREE workshop will offer hands-on experience with FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge along with a support system of experienced volunteers and coaches within the New River Robotics Association. Come anytime between 4pm and 6pm. There are opportunities for funding through grants of various sources to help equip a new team and give youth a chance to compete in the sport of the mind and prepare for the future.
