Senior Financial Management Analyst
TechLab, Inc. develops, manufactures and distributes medical diagnostic tests. This company places emphasis on science and collaboration with universities. We are looking to add a Senior Financial Management Analyst to our team in Blacksburg, VA.
An employee in this position can expect to perform the following duties:
• Cost/Management Accounting activities to include:
o Maintenance of standard costs system, working closely with operations to ensure accurate bills of material and investigation of variances.
o Inventory control and monthly reconciliation and review of current inventory details.
o Review and analysis of product level margins and trends.
o Communication to management ensuring overall costs are clearly understood.
o Work with procurement to monitor raw material costs and the impact on overall product costing.
• Assist CFO with special projects which may include:
o Support for multiple forecasts and analysis.
o Work on specific projects to improve the communication of finances throughout the organization.
o Support for various business systems – Business intelligence reporting, EDI, and ERP implementation and maintenance.
o Assist with budget preparation.
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

TechLab® maintains a climate-controlled environment for the job of Senior Financial Management Analyst. Standard company hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but the employee may qualify for flextime and hybrid scheduling at the employer’s discretion. Overtime is occasionally necessary with or without advance notice.
TechLab offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits. This position requires candidates to possess B.S. or B.A with emphasis in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 10 years’ experience. CPA or MBA preferred, but not required. Additionally, experience working for a subsidiary of a global organization is preferred.
