The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center website took home a Gold ADDY at the Western Virginia American Advertising Awards on Saturday, March 2. The award is a reflection of the strong online presence VTCRC has worked to develop and foster with tenants and others looking for information about the research park.
The annual awards competition highlights outstanding work across all advertising and marketing genres. The annual awards competition had 134 professional entries from agencies, firms, in-house creatives, and individuals, as well as 67 student entries from colleges and universities around the state.
The website and design were created by LeadPoint Digital, a digital marketing agency specializing in search engine optimization and advertising, content marketing, and website design.
“Our website not only beautifully captures our brand, it is easy to navigate and functional for the wide range of people we serve,” said Brett Malone, President and CEO of the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. “Working with LeadPoint Digital on this project was seamless and they did a great job listening to understand our needs and goals as we embarked on this big project.”
The website which features a seek and modern user experience as well as a robust tenant portal was launched in early 2023.
“Our team works hard every day to drive results for our clients and it’s an honor to be recognized for that passion and excellence we bring to our projects,” said LeadPoint Managing Partner Brad Timofeev.
Entry in the local competition is the first of three steps toward winning a National ADDY. The website will go on to compete against winners from other local clubs in the second-tier district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.
